Commemorate a Friend or Loved One

For generations of West Shore residents, the gardens and grounds of Royal Roads University are integral to community health and happiness—a free and accessible “backyard” park where residents of all ages come to play, dream and heal. For students and alumni, the campus is a beautiful backdrop to their academic pursuits—a place to relax, recharge and make enduring memories. And it’s no wonder: research confirms that a weekly two-hour dose of nature—all at once or spread over days—is all it takes to reap substantial physical, mental, and emotional benefits.

Adopt a Garden

With the launch of A Vision In Bloom, donors who make a year-long pledge of just $25/month can adopt a section of the historic garden—in their own name or someone else’s—to help protect and maintain a beloved community amenity. Our monthly donors will be invited to be listed on our website and to participate in seasonal garden updates and events, all year long.

Whether you come here to walk, to run or to rest, let us help you celebrate what the gardens mean to you.

Legacy Benches

Now there’s an opportunity for park lovers to linger even longer on the paths and trails: the new Royal Roads commemorative giving program will install six new legacy benches across campus. With the gift of a park bench, you can enhance the park while honouring a special person or celebrating an important occasion in your own life. For more information on how to arrange a Legacy Bench, please get in touch with our Advanacement Team using the contact form below or calling 1-866-207-0080.
